When we founded our group in 2011 and started the design of our Epic Journeys brand we made one important promise to ourselves; "Whatever we will develop, we will always place a great emphasis on our core passion -- culinary ".

Because cooking and food and beverage is in our DNA, we felt it is not only important to preserve this passion but to use it to make a point of difference.

Martin Buber once beatifully said; “All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware.” This powerful quote has been a great inspiration for us when we designed Epic Journeys. It's more relevant now then ever.

In a fast pacing world, where everything is rushed, one hardly notices all the amazing experiences one could have when on a journey. We need to get there as fast as possible, and quite often we are so exhausted that we won't even take in the scenery along the way.

There is no more important subject than the planet’s health and crippling levels of pollution caused by human’s desire for progress at no thought for the consequences. With global warming one of humanity’s most significant challenges yet, there are also other concerns such as overfishing, deforestation animal cruelty, famine, drought and so forth.

Tourism can play a significant role in making things better. This is most certainly our objective. Not only preserve and protect what is left but working hard to reverse damages that have been made.

We make it a priority for each of our resorts to always place a great emphasis on the wellbeing of our team's children and the children of the communities we join.

Comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, lots of personal space and privacy and a well-stocked minibar are only a part of what makes a holiday exceptional. We believe that the accommodation element accounts for about 30 to 35 percent of the experience. So what about the other 65 percent?

Quite often hoteliers work very hard to create amazing experiences, but the reality is that only a few guests partake in these. Sometimes the communication between the resort's team and the guest is not very efficient; hence guests may not be aware of these great experiences, but more often then not it is the steep pricing which prevents guests from experiencing these great moments.
